A gift before it is a task New life begins with what God has done, not with proving what you can do. Salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus. You bring your need; He brings forgiveness, reconciliation, and life.
Repentance and faith belong together. Repentance turns from the old center of life. Faith rests your confidence in Jesus. Neither requires pretending that you will never struggle again.
A new direction Following Jesus changes how we handle truth, money, sexuality, forgiveness, work, power, and relationships. This transformation is usually not instant or smooth. God forms us through Scripture, prayer, obedience, community, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Growth is not how you purchase God's love. It is the fruit of having received it.
You were not meant to walk alone Christian faith is personal, but it is not private. Jesus joins people into a family where they learn, serve, confess, forgive, and carry one another's burdens.
Look for a church that keeps Jesus and the Bible central, treats people with humility, practices accountability, and makes room for honest questions. No church is perfect, but isolation makes growth harder than it needs to be.
